Making It To The Gym

I decided to sleep in today (til 6, yay!) and will head to the gym after work. It’s a cross training day so do I’ll cardio for 20 minutes and then move on to the “Tank Top Arms” workout that I found on Pinterest (obviously :))  I love strength training workouts that focus solely on my arms.  They’ve always been more challenging to tone so it’s nice being able to really focus on each move and work towards more toned/strong arms!  I WILL have toned arms someday!     

*Repeat the circuit 2-3 times

It’s usually harder for me to workout after work than before so I came up with a plan.  I’m going to have a strong cup of coffee in the late afternoon (3ish?) and I’ll change into my gym clothes before I leave work today.  This way I’ll have no choice but to stop at the gym on my way home.  It doesn’t matter if I’m too sleepy or if I sit in traffic forever….     I can’t go home in gym clothes and not workout, right?!  I’ll let you know if my plan works. 😀


Breakfast was small in size but still very filling.  I had my usual banana and almond butter in a mug but I also added a spoonful of Chia seeds to the mix and microwaved it for 20 seconds.  Super easy.  It’s not the most appealing looking breakfast but I swear it’s really tasty! 


Yesterday when I got home from work I went right for the bag of pretzels….

And ate a couple too many. 

Once dinner time rolled around I wasn’t very hungry so I decided to make something on the lighter side.  I prepared 2 scrambled eggs with broccoli and a wedge of  “The Laughing Cow’s, Light Mozzarella, Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil” cheese.  I also added a couple of strawberries on the side.  Delicious!

And for dessert?  A glass of wine. 😀
