How was everyone’s weekend?! 😀
On Friday afternoon I said my goodbye’s to Rocko, picked Mike up at work, and hit the road towards Acres of Wildlife Campsite in Steep Falls, Maine.
OK, so the other day I said I was going camping but I guess it was more like glamping. Mike, our friends, Matt and Jaime, and I switched it up this year and rented a house on a campground instead of staying in tents…… And it was awesome!!! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes the idea of camping but doesn’t really like to camp.

On Saturday we rented tubes and floated down the Saco River. This is probably one of my favorite activities that I’ve done all summer. The views were gorgeous and we were able to relax and just float away! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
After a lazy day of tubing we went back to the glampsite for happy hour at Chubs Pub, played a couple of rounds of Scattegories (I’m obsessed), and hung-out by the campfire for the rest of the evening.

After drinking and eating crap all weekend it’s time to get my butt in gear……..
Workouts For The Week (based on my half marathon training plan):
- Monday: run 50 minutes
- Tuesday: cross train: elliptical for 20 minutes then the “No Weights Circuit Workout”
No Weights Circuit Workout:
- 15 push-ups
- 20 jump squats
- 25 mountain climbers
- 60 second plank
- 60 second invisible jump rope
- 60 second wall sit
**Repeat the circuit 2-3 times
- Wednesday: run + speed 50 minutes
- Thursday: cross train (workout is TBD)
- Friday: run – race pace 7 miles
- Saturday: off (might go for a short,easy run)
- Sunday: off
Question: I finally ordered a pair of compression socks. Do you guys wear them?? If so, do you wear them during races?? Or just after?
